Research topics span from physics and engineering to life sciences and material science with special focus on spintronics, sensors and lab on chip. Beyond applications in -onics and -omics technologies, we target the development of novel sensors/components and functional materials. Additional activities include application of microscopy techniques to life and material sciences as well as FEM simulations and programming languages for data collection, analysis and prototyping.
