Giusi Caragnano (1994) graduated in Medical Biotechnologies and Molecular Medicine at the Department of Biosciences, Biotechnologies and Biopharmaceutics – University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, Italy in 2020. She conducted her master’s thesis under the title: ” Development of Organ-on-chip to investigate neurodegenerative diseases” at CNR-Nanotec Institute of Nanotechnology. She is also qualified for the profession of biologist and after graduation she worked as a biologist in a laboratory of clinical analysis (Biomedicals s.r.l.).From 2021 she is a PhD student in Nanotechnologies at CNR-Nanotec and University of Salento and she is part of the Omnics research group. Her research activity concerns development of the Organ-on-chip to support the treatment of both chronic and cancerous gastrointestinal diseases.
